Protect
Your Friends
Of
course you’re going to protect yourself. But if you’re like
most people, you worry a lot about the safety of your friends.
You’d never forgive yourself if one of them were poisoned,
assaulted, or raped when you could have prevented it.
Here
are some steps to take to ensure your friends’ safety.
- Keep
your friends close by -- in your sight, if possible.
- Monitor
your friends’ behavior. They could be in trouble if:
- They
seem intoxicated when they didn’t drink alcohol.
- They
seem more drunk than expected for the amount of alcohol
they drank.
- They
seem confused, physically weak, or too compliant.
- If
you see or hear that someone is drugging a drink or a punch
bowl, warn others.
- Tell
your friends about the high-risk places and situations where
these drugs have been known to be used.
